Using HTTP protocol the data is transferred in plain text. It's possible for hackers to capture transmitted data using sniffing tools. So for security of data, use HTTPS protocol. Using HTTPS protocol the transmitted data is encrypted.

Blogger now allowing to enable HTTPS for your Blogger blog. To allow the visitors to view your Blogger blog over HTTPS connection, you need to enable HTTPS. In this post I'm going to show you how to enable HTTPS on your Blogger blog.

How to enable HTTPS on Blogger blog:

It's simple to enable HTTPS for your Blogger blog. Blogger providing HTTPS settings to enable HTTPS. By default HTTPS is enabled on your Blogger blog, but for custom domains using on Blogger, you need to enable HTTPS manually. To check whether HTTPS enabled on your blog or not, just enter your blog with HTTPS:// on browser.

Follow below steps to enable HTTPS on your Blogger blog:

Step 1 : Go to Blogger Dashboard

Step 2 : Click on Settings

Step 3 : Click on Basic under Settings

Step 4 : Go to HTTPS settings and choose Yes from HTTPS availability dropdown menu

Step 5 : Save option

That's it, you have successfully enabled HTTPS on your Blogger blog.
